Countdown begins ahead of WSL title fight finale

Gareth Taylor and his Manchester City players have been studying the form guide ahead of the final day of the Barclays FA Women's Super League season.

Victory over West Ham at the Academy Stadium on Sunday will secure a second successive title for the Club, but Chelsea could snatch the crown if they beat Reading at Kingsmeadow and City slip up.

With just one point separating the two teams, the title race will go down to the wire – and Taylor and his players are well aware of the challenge they face.

"We've had a look at the permutations and we know what we need to do," said Taylor.

"But we're not going to focus on Chelsea. We're going to focus on ourselves and make sure we perform to our best.

"We've been in this position before and we know what it takes to win a title. We're confident in our ability and we're going to give it everything we've got."

City will be without the suspended Alex Greenwood on Sunday, but Taylor has a fully fit squad to choose from otherwise.

"We're all fit and ready to go," said Taylor. "We've had a good week of training and we're looking forward to the game.

"It's going to be a tough game, but we're confident we can get the win we need."

The countdown to the title fight finale is on. Who will be crowned champions of the Barclays FA Women's Super League? We'll find out on Sunday.
